I cant watch a movie without skipping parts or in 1.5x or 2x. I cant play a game if I'm not interested in it in the first 2 minutes (I cant play 99% of games) even if the game is supposedly fast paced. every useless expository cutscene and dialogue makes me cringe.

i have the same theory OP, when i started on the internets it was on dialup and you had to wait for a single page to load, now i have 5 tabs open, IRC and email, and simply cannot focus on anything anymore unless i'm high or drunk (or both) i've explained to my brother to not let his 2 sons have multiple distractions as much as possible (playing minecraft on a tablet while 'watching' a cartoon, stuff like that)
i've tried adderall and it definitely helped but finding a doc to prescribe, even when i had insurance was pretty much impossible, now without insurance i'm just fucked
