Whatever country you're in, find the webpage of the unemployment department\agency and read through about eligibility requirements and obligations. Find out exactly what you need to say. It can also help to find the legislation governing the department\agency (because it's often legislated, giving you legal right\obligations).

I'm in Australia and in Australia you could easily apply for Newstart and explain that you have depresssion and social anxiety and this limits where you can work. Most of the employees there would recognise that this limits what jobs you can apply for to some degree, but it certainly wouldn't exempt you from working in jobs simply because they involve SOME interaction with people, which practically all jobs do. Unless you applied for a disability or sickness payment on those grounds and had some proof.

Even if it takes several days to read through the information on the site and\or legislation, it's worth it because it gives you the ability to tailor what you say to what will get you on the benefit. Otherwise if you turn up and say 'x' and that disqualifies you in some way, or puts you on a lower payment, they might maintain a record of what you've said\reported and then it's hard to go back on or change what you've said.

Become empowered with knowledge before you make the application. It'll also help you feel a lot more confident about the interview.

Ok well I'd consider that relatively functional. If you're capable of interacting with people in an environment that isn't non-stop, that's really good for you and I hope you get a job. I think the key again is research. Spend the time learning about different entry-level jobs, and find people who've been in those jobs and ask them to explain in detail to you what's involved. A huge part of overcoming the hurdles to employment is getting beyond the shit-testing of job advertisements which love to make jobs seem terrifyingly complex, with all sorts of selection criteria using strange, seemingly specialist terminology. You just have to learn to see that for what it usually is - bullshit, and find out from people who've actually done the job what it involves. Then apply, and be prepared to fail at some things the first few days, but learn from your failings.

Doesn't sound too bad. For me it's so bad I can't deal with more than a few people throughout the whole day.

I can't handle jobs where I would have to talk to dozens of customers a day or interact with my co-workers all day.

I can only work at jobs where I would talk to 2 or 3 people, which really limits where I can work. Anything more than that and I crash and burn. It's debilitating.
