How do I stop being a lazy fuck?

I'm currently suffering from depression and I'm taking 50mg of Sertraline every day. I'd surely say I got better if I'd have to compare my current state to one year ago, but it's still not enough. I want an actual change into my life, and I know that I'll have to get to work in order to achieve it. But my indolence is overwhelming and it prevents me to do any productive task. Also, even if I accurately plan my day, I always feel too tired to performe the most basic and fundamental thing to get started. Furthermore, I think I might be suffering from a minor case of ADHD, since my attention span is quite short and basically useless, but I haven't told to my psychiatrist yet.

I need to act now. Recommend me any way to get my ass off the bed so that I can reach a successful normie life. Supplements? Meds? Life-coach books? Anything that would work or that have actually worked for you.

I lived without internet for 9 months. All of a sudden i had lots of time to do everything. Most important, when i wanted to use internet, i had to leave the house and go to the public library or some coffee place.

Max dose is 200, so you obviously haven't tried everything. Personally I hated it when I was on it (mostly because my parents forced me when I wasn't depressed) but it could be great for you and you just aren't taking enough. Get your psychiatrist to up the dosage.

You guys are wrong. All the time you spend on the internet is fun, but it's a waste of attention. If you get rid of it you'll probably just watch a lot of tv, or hook up your old ps2.

What you need to do is get rid of all distractions. Cocoon for 6 months, read shit and better yourself physically and mentally (meditate/psychedelics/therapy)

If you spend the last 4 months not looking at porn when you get out you'll get a gf within weeks guaranteed. And if you use the momentum to keep going you'll blow your mind with where you end up.

Wow, I came in here hoping for an answer as well.

I don't know what to do in your situation OP, mine is very similar.

Tell your doctor everything you just mentioned at the top of the thread, and see if they have any suggestions as well, as they have a lot of experience of helping people in that same situation.

It sounds like a textbook case of depression.

Before you go to sleep, shave, brush your teeth, nails, shower, so you feel like you have accomplished at least something at the end of the day before sleeping so you can feel more at ease and relaxed.

Set 9 hours to sleep, and do so as comfortably as you can. When your 9 hours of sleep are up, brush your teeth, shave, shower, etc, so you feel like you have achieved something at the start of the day.

Lots of baby steps, take control of something I think we can all agree upon that is doable in your life first. Once you got that mastered it will spread into all other parts of your life.

I can't recommend any self help books or anything, I don't find they help.

Keep talking to your doctor, and take control of everything you do before you sleep, how long you sleep, and what happens after you are done sleeping.

That is already a huge part of your life and a huge amount of health you will have mastered. If you can do that, you will have the foundation to do anything.
