Oh yes layers do help. I just wish there was a way to properly remove pencil marks in the paper. Gumming it away just doesn't do it.

Anon, you clearly have a lot of patience. How long did this take? The horns have a dried out sandy look to them, and it's because of how you drew it (lol duh), and it looks neat.

Very interesting. You don't do much "outlining" at all. It's all shading. My drawing is pic related. Unfortunately the quality of this picture is very low but I think you can tell it's all just outlines.

You have mostly clean lines, that's nice. A lot of people (me included) have trouble drawing with chickenscratches, though making a concious effort helps.

You have good muscle control. Also good idea with the edges, this way you lead the eye to the center.
