I know for a fact that my life would be better if I had no internet connection but for obvious reasons I could never get away from it for more than few days. Anyone ever tried this?

It's not the internet itself; it is how you use it.

This is true

Yep, I've been there. Don't go whole hog on it. Designate one day a week as "no internet" (unless there's an emergency.) If it helps pick a day you're usually the busiest. It's easier to stick to one day at a time, and if you like it add some more.
I waste far too much time online but unless I could find a way to spend that time more productively, quitting wouldn't do much good. I can't guarantee that I could honestly.

That's exactly what experts on this say. (Yes there are experts.) you need to pick up a hobby or a new responsibility at the same time in order to stave off the boredom

But honestly a lot of things are better than being online. What do you default to when your internet goes down?
I don't think I've went a day without internet in like 6 years. Even then I probably watched TV or was doing drugs to escape
