Lost Children arc was probably the best. The rest is still great imo. I think it get's a little less enjoyable once all the magic and power of friendship stuff comes in, but the general themes remain the same, and the segments with the berserker armor are amazing.

Depends in what ways. The only real improvement I see is in character design. The movies really defaced the characters, especially Griffith and Casca.
Everything else looks mediocre, and this is a trailer, so we can expect the real thing to be worse, unless they make some improvements by miracle.
