If you dont' want to/can't do well in school you should leave. I'm totally seriosu. You can come very close to ruining your life by doing poorly in school but well enough to get a degree. If you need to make a GPA requirement for a cert program or graduate study, you can easily pend more than a year workign off those poor marks. Those programs do not care about your test scores or post-doc caliber research if you earned a degree with a 2.2 or something. Trust me on this.

It's what I did. I made the mistake of going to a university. After a couple of weeks I realized that I didn't really feel like doing my work or even going to class. So I didn't and failed. Then made the decision not to go back.
Some people can put forth the effort and some can't. I'm in the latter group. I've accepted that I'll never have a high paying job.

People whine at me about how working in a factory (well in my case it was a massive cargo hub but essentially functioned like a factory would) sucks but it was more engaging and less soul crushing than school work. Even on the days when I was working in blizzards. I cannot wait to go back.
