Don't expect anything good for the best part of a decade, honestly. And don't expect it to be cheap. The cost of entry will be 4 figures for anything beyond the absolute basics.
Sorry to burst bubbles but it's not going to be friendly territory for the average consumer until we're all going bald and grey.
VR will be shit until you don't have to wear it.
You might get something crudely akin to a cyberdeck/netjack in the 2100s at the earliest.
