We do sit down and try to figure this out. In fact, its mandated we try to do this before they'll usually let us even have a sniff of anything resembling hormones on our insurance.
When we do try to address a different reason from the need transition being in and of itself, the attempt to find a different reason is circular because there is no other reason.
