For Easter I had dinner with a family member I've had difficult relations with and nearly cut all contact with permanently.
I like being able to not make it a permanent fuck you situation it's nice to enjoy that we can get along temporarily even though it just reminds me of how much I need to cut contact with them anyway and what I need to do to accomplish that so I don't get stuck in situations that put a strain on that unnecessarily.
I appreciate they cooked so I bit my tongue that they cooked ham. A fucking ham for Easter. They even went to fucking catholic school for years I mean jesus fucking christ it's right there in the front of the book don't eat THAT.
