How are you doing tonight robots? Share some of the things you have done to improve yourself in the past 7 days
Also get it off your chest, tell me your feels I will try to help you with it even if I don't have any experience with your problem I will do my best to help you with it
I bought spinach and yogurt to start putting in my smoothies, got ungrounded sea-salt to make veggies taste better, bought some vitamin D and multivitamins, and pinned up a calendar to keep up with my goal of drinking more water and masturbating less.
i'm going to start studying for my calculus exam right now. this will be the first time i study for an exam more than 2 days ahead of time

Well done anon, a good diet is most of the % to a healthy body, are you doing some sort of exercise as well such as running or lifting?
Also when you think about masturbating, instead give a call to your parents or text them, or watch a good movie, yesterday I saw Collateral, I recommend it.
Also with the water might as well get a 2L bottle next to you

I'm not really exercising yet, but I have started going outside more. I plan on it, but don't want to get to far ahead of myself.

Very nice anon, I also have some exams in a month and a half so I better learn from you and get on them
For calculus I recommend making a sheet with every formula on every exercise you can encounter, memorize it, do some example exercises, and whenever you don't remember how to do it just look at the sheet, don't feel down or anything, if you can't find a solution on how to do one, e-mail one of your teachers, also look on some past examinations on your universities website if there are some.
Your effort is gonna pay of in the end, also don't force yourself too much, do 2,3 simpler/quicker exercises take a 5 minutes rest, do a bigger exercise like the final one on the exam, take a 5-10 minute break, listen to some classical music while you do it

Don't worry anon, tomorrow there is another chance and a fresh start of the week, do you have any plans on how to start your self improvement process or do you need some suggestions?
The good: I went to the gym 3 times. It is tough as hell but I am making very slow improvements. I did a paper I needed to last night instead if blowing it off. I paid my credit card. Voted in my caucus on Tuesday and got to see a friend. Didn't blow off school. Made a video on youtube, only got like 60 views but I'm glad I did something productive.
The bad: drank every single day .I tried to hang out with someone yesterday but bungled it.
The very bad: drunk texted my ex on Wednesday (kill me)
This week:
Going to the gym tomorrow afternoon. Set an appointment to see Batman v Superman with a friend on Tues( I know it's shit, /tv/ is home board). Going to volunteer on Wednesday.
Trying to pull my shit around senpaitachi.
reading some of pic related and switching from cardio to HIIT
lifting weights
it's little things that make life easier. for example, there's no reason to be insecure in public. people will think you're an autistic, out of shape loser desperately trying to make up for lost ground. and it's true. i am. it might be an accurate assessment on their part, and that's exactly why i'm out there in the first place, because i want to change.
i realized that years and years ago. i guess it's painfully obvious to most people, but i thought it was a big deal when i was younger. but still, people love to talk shit and shoot dirty looks, so fuck em.

I see anon, one of the reasons people don't stick to their new year's resolutions is that they make a bunch of goals at one time and they don't plan far ahead on them.
I say stick to the vitamins and water until you make it a habit, not missing any day for a few days straight. After that go for a 1 minute run, then a 2 minute run, then increase the time as much as it is fitting in your schedule if the goal is to maintain. You can also go to the gym if you want to build some muscle, I recommend SL5X5 with some dips and pull ups at the end of each session. If it takes too much of your time try GreySkull LP

You seem to be doing a lot already anon, good job, I can only wish you could slow down on the drinking, not giving up on it. Maybe keep it only on Friday night or two days of the week, and every other time when you feel like buying a drink, put the money in a jar or something, and see after like a month how much you have saved. It may be hard tho, I was never addicted to drinking but I know how addiction is. The last time I did drink more than I was supposed to I ruined my shirt I was supposed to use in my acting practice, I didn't got a drunk ever since. I guess you might stop whenever you will do something you regret a lot but let's hope not.

You got the right stuff anon, just completely ignored any negative think a person may do to you, and embrace the positive ones whenever you encounter them. Surround yourself with people who seek self improvement just like yourself and get the losers out of your life.
Also didn't know about the guy in your pick, what kind of writer is Steven and which books do you recommend from him? I am making a list

Thanks anon.
I don't think I'm addicted, it's mostly just been a rough week. I don't want to get addicted. I've just been depressed and am trying to keep myself busy in some way.

This thread is not doing well and I think that reflects the title and the board quite well

The past 7 days? I showered exactly once. I shaved the horrible goatee I was growing. That's literally it. Self-improvement is a meme, you're just doing what other people tell you to do (hit the gym bro, all you need is money, read 19th century German philosophy nigga)
I'm taking the garbage advice of "be yourself" to heart and spending my days jerking off, drinking beer and browsing chans. Shit's horrible but it's better than trying to be a normie.
I practiced piano and tried to compose, but got little done
>>27445253
Started taking long-distance (f0r me anyways) walks and lifting, am really going to start looking for a job for real now, I've been breaking bad routines (going to sleep at like 5am) and habits, started eating healthier, and also have been spending less time on here, no offense.

I downgraded this last week.

>you're just doing what other people tell you to do
same with self-destruction, and/or following their example
