Every year or year and a half I get my hair cut down to an inch. I'm just getting past shoulder length right now.
But rapid thinning is starting to set in, I might just start keeping a buzzed head instead. No one wants to be the whispy long-haired dude
I haven't got mine cut in about 5 months I think. I go in every month or two for a beard trim though. It's great because the chain barbershop I go to saves everything you like so you don't have to remember exactly what you got last time
IE it says on their computer your facial hair is trimmed with a #2 razor head or you like the hair on the sides of your head to cover your ears.

I haven't. I paint as part of my work most day, and I always get paint in my hair. It's not good for it and I think I need to chop it off, but I hate getting haircuts.
The last time I let it go a few years and I had hair that when wet was down to the middle of the back, but my hair is fairly curly at that length, so it was a bit shorter when dry.

I force myself to get haircuts because my hair is my best feature, it's thick, wavy and a dark brown color. My mom still sets up appointments for me if I ask her to, for a woman at a salon to cut it. I always sit in silence during the appointments and just try to respond normally if she tries to talk to me. Sometimes she compliments my hair and it makes my heart speed up.
