>tfw all I can do is work on individual simple pieces but that doesn't seem to help overall piano ability
>tfw need a roadmap of practice but can't find one anywhere
Nice tunes tho

Mastering an instrument takes decades. Work on the individual pieces. A marathon is run step by step.
>>27435843
Definitely seems like it, if there's one lesson I've learnt over the last year of practice though, it's to learn pieces I actually enjoy playing. Anything else and I get bored and practice turns into a real chore.

keep posting. I'm here to listen.
Why this thread?
Because music is a better format for expressing feels than greentext.

What's this one?
not impressive at all, when i can easily program music with midi
is that you playing the pano?
>>27437161
You'd better be able to do that god damned well, because there are subtle differences in connections of notes that make up phrasing.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not one of those instrumental purists, I just think that if you're going to do it, you have to really know how to do it.
I'm at my parent's house. They are currently taking a nap. I will resume playing once they are up and out. In the meantime, please enjoy this recommended listen. The title, "barcarolle", refers to a small rowing boat. Imagine the voyage...

Something I made up based on a melody from an opera called Heksehammeren. The opera portrays the witch burning processes in Finnmark, a county in Norway in which women were burned at ten times the rate of other European counties.

Good shit, anon. Makes me feel.
Wow that was good OP. Thanks for sharing. I haven't felt this good just by listening to something in a while.
Fate does not, as Beethoven suggested, knock on your door. It comes crashing down your roof, crushing you underneath a pile of rubble.

hello fellow music bots
i have a fake band that is entirely improvised, satirical anti-normie music
you can listen to our first album here
https://soundcloud.com/mutt-520455195/sets/open-up
there's more coming soonish but i can't say for sure when
feedback is appreciated
>>27440140
So you have a memeband.
>>27440188
yeah i guess so, i don't think of it like that though. i think by tackling music from the POV of a normie or Chad I can understand and criticize them better
>>27439945
You are my favorite, anon. Keep 'em coming.

I love Rachmaninoff's Preludes! Here's me playing the opening of the G minor one

If you composed that I am quite impressed. Very gud anon, even if based off of a pre-existing theme.
>>27440140
Holy fuck.
This is amazing, in the term of shitty music quality and lyrical quality.

There is a band called Anal Cunt, that reminds me of this. Here is their best album:

Oh trust me, I am very familiar with Anal Cunt

Thanks anon, we tried to go for the right mix of horrible technical and musical quality but still vaguely entertaining or meaningful

Very nice! I like it. Clean and good tempo. The g minor is a real blast to play. Is that an electric piano? What model? How does it satisfy your needs?

It's Rachmaninoffian happiness, friend. A pianist once told us a joke on stage:
>In theatre, what is a Russian tragedy?
>Everybody dies.
>In theatre, what is a Russian comedy?
>Everybody dies with a smile.
