Why vote for Hillary?

I just don't get it. I'm a Swede on the right so that means in-between Democrats and Republicans somewhere.

And I don't see any reason why anyone would be voting for Hillary. If you're on the left but opposed civil rights (progressive stuff) sure she may sound like a valid option but likely she's turned again for real now. She has much more to gain by rejecting that money and taking all the other money she can.

Bernie or Trump are both not corruptible in many ways. Trump because he's already in it for his own gain. Bernie has a record that shows his virtues.

I just don't see it ameribots. You have one valid option. Sure, the wall is a fun gimmick but you can get that later I'm sure.

The average American voter is a dumb, retarded POS. They have no idea what the TPP is, and they have no idea that Hilary made boatloads from Goldman Sachs. They recognize her name, and they probably remember a few headlines from a Hilary-friendly media outlet that praised her for some stupid thing. So they have no idea who Bernie Sanders is, or what Benghazi is, or what a Super PAC is.

God Bless America.

This.

Most of the country doesn't even vote. The few voters generally just go "I'll vote for the mainstream candidate" so they can feel like they made a difference and are relevant, when in reality, they're just pawns in a corrupt and unfair system.

It's mostly the niggers voting for her because they consider her husband to be the first black president. The other half of her voters are just old people. She's getting legacy votes and nothing more, maybe a few feminists here and there.

I live in Washington and simply want to be rid of this system. Check out my thread to see my solution to this problem.

So is the average Bernie Sanders supporter. You're not more intelligent for being a socialist, you realise?

>>27427051
>The few voters generally just go "I'll vote for the mainstream candidate"

Bernie is the mainstream candidate among most 18-30 year old, white, middle class Americans. It literally requires no independent thought to parrot "corporations so evil" rhetoric that you read from Facebook or a left-wing-biased news outlet.

>they're just pawns in a corrupt and unfair system.

Calling a system corrupt/unfair because your preferred candidate isn't winning is rather immature.

>So is the average Bernie Sanders supporter.
Sanders is not a socialist and people sure as hell do not support him because he's called a socialist, they actually support his policies and his integrity, unlike Hillary.
>Bernie is the mainstream candidate among most 18-30 year old, white, middle class Americans.
That is not what a mainstream candidate is. That's like saying Trump is the mainstream candidate of white males.
>It literally requires no independent thought to parrot "corporations so evil" rhetoric
As opposed to "build a wall" or "make America great again"? You have to be a mindless idiot not to see the ways in which many corporations have done great harm to this country. From tax evasion, outsourcing, disregard for public health, etc. they will do anything to make more profit.
>>

>It literally requires no independent thought to parrot "corporations so evil" rhetoric that you read from Facebook or a left-wing-biased news outlet.
Well it's not just that. Corporations are generally fine with having higher up staff with higher taxes. What's problematic is tax on buying stuff like equipment for starting the business and export/import. We have a pretty nice system here which I think is ignored a lot because it's very corporate friendly and people who take examples from Scandinavia often don't look at that side of it. The most relevant thing I can think of right now is that if you have a loan for your company you get to deduct the interest on that loan for investments into the company. So if you have to buy a 6000SEK chainsaw to cut down some trees. And you make 300 000SEK that year and you have a 1 000 000 SEK loan with 3% interest you essentially got your chainsaw for free because you can deduct the 6000SEK from the 30000SEK interest, state pays it. It's an extremely encouraging system and I can see why if someone like Bernie would appreciate this (neither the left or the right here are against it really) he wouldn't mention it because of how it might sound to an American audience.
>Calling a system corrupt/unfair because your preferred candidate isn't winning is rather immature.
It's pretty clear you have poor representation in many issues.
>>27427498
>Sanders is not a socialist
He calls himself a social democrat. That's most certainly a socialist.
>>
>>27427595
>He calls himself a social democrat. That's most certainly a socialist
He refers to himself as a democratic socialist, not a social democrat.

His policies indicate otherwise. The purpose of the label is to make him appear anti-establishment.
>>
>>27427922
>democratic socialist
Anon I'm not entirely sure what that means in an American context but to me that's the exact same thing. The only other interpretation I could make is that he's a socialist in the democratic party. Which doesn't make him not a socialist.
>His policies indicate otherwise
Not too engaged with that. Don't much care for most of US domestic things unless they seem major (civil rights tend to propagate over the world, gay marriage in the US means something).

>vote for a person who has actual experience in political endeavors
If this is meant to be Clinton that's woefully inaccurate concerning Sanders involvement.
>vote for a dirty hippy that wants to give poor folk free money because poor people are clearly the best at having and accruing it to be president
Generally a socialist tends to prefer to give conditional money where it can gain the nation something. A base principle of the system is that the individuals best serves the system the best though. So you may have disagreements with that. But most socialists would argue that giving a citizen pay (living-money for being a citizen) doesn't serve them the best.

Bernie is a piece of shit that wants to make white people suffer.
>>
>>27427089
Then how is she winning?
>>
>>27428440
>Bernie is a piece of shit that wants to make white people suffer.
Fairly certain he's not proposing racial discrimination laws. And without such specific targeting there's no real way of distinguishing the different groups unless he targets the bottom few percent economically or have federal law that targets specific states.

Please explain where you got that from though.
No memes please.
>>
>>27428526
Dude.. 'When you're white ... you don't know what it's like to be poor' this is the biggest load of racism and bullcrap ever. Among other things.
>>
>>27428447
Sanders looks more popular because the interwebs is so wold about him. On a large scale there are tons of middle aged and older people who barely know who he is or dont really get what he's saying, and then combined with media very regularly shitting on him they end up going for Clinton: Familiar name, most liked Bill, generally sounds like Obama to them, etc.

I'd like Sanders but

>wants to tax me up the ass when I never go to the doctor anyway

Our political discourse is pretty messed up. At its worst any government spending that doesn't go towards the military is considered socialism. We haven't gotten over McCarthy.
>>
>>27428581
It doesnt really matter anymore anyway, sanders already lost this shit like 2-3 weeks ago. Trump/shillary is pretty much it and anyone who seriously believes sanders or cruz can still win are too afraid to admit it to themselves
>>
>>27428447
She's winning because most of the primaries are closed primaries which means only registered republicans and democrats can vote, and a lot of Sanders' supporters are independents or young hip voters who do a lot of internet campaigning but don't actually show up to the polls to get him elected as their candidate.

Also, most of the country is a lot more familiar with Shillary. Though to his credit, Bernie has amassed a significant amount of attention for himself considering he came from relative obscurity at the beginning of all this.
>>
>>27428571
>When you're white ... you don't know what it's like to be poor

You don't think this is just to gather the black vote? Which largely has been against him (for some inexplicable reason).
>>27428581
>taxes
Well supposedly he's gonna have a much higher marginal tax rate (39.6% for $400,000+ is the current). Really with the income distribution in the US you don't get all that much by not increasing the higher marginal tax rates.
>redditors candidate of choice
Yeah. Don't see why that'd impact you though. Redditors like a lot of things.
>pandering to every minority in existence
Well claiming equal rights essentially makes for "pandering". Doesn't really matter right.
>>27428722
Well he can run again. Campaign efforts aren't wasted when he's the guy getting his name out there. I think the fact that he's gotten the attention he has to be rather impressive.
>>27428837
Yeah maybe next year. I don't get the idea behind how it's important to be familiar with someone. Because really 10 minutes of youtube videos could get you up to speed enough as far as the average american voter seems to be concerned if they're not looking around for alternatives when Hillary is mentioned.
>>
>You don't think this is just to gather the black vote? Which largely has been against him (for some inexplicable reason).
Well good. So your point?
>>
>>27428923
My point is that it's not actionable racism. It's the one instance where I think Bernie is being deceptive like Hillary. So it's not a large strike against him. Also I'm fairly certain you do have a constitution that does something about racial discrimination. And as a republic he can't really change that on his own so I don't see what the big deal is.

I doubt he'd run again at 78. It was a good effort but dont expect america to actually unfuck itself, people always fall for the drivel of corporations and they dont learn.

If it werent for sanders the democratic party this year would've been shillary and a bunch of retards that no one cared about and had 0 charisma. Assuming no sanders-esque candidate comes along in 2020, who the fuck would you honestly vote for? Meanwhile the TPP gets signed and net neutrality loses protection

Well regardless he can choose a VP right? Surely it can't be that hard to find someone like minded.
