Terrible use of language on my part but really, exploitation of the workforce like that isn't right. Someone's making a lot of money from your labour. There's no real reason that have to pay you so little. They do it because they can get away with it. That sort of greedy, frugal behaviour may be good for business but it's not good for society.

I'm curious what happens if they don't make enough in tips. If the tips are all added together and there isn't enough there to top the wages up to minimu, then what? Will goldstein pay the rest of the wage properly? Will he instead accuse everyone of not working hard enough and refuse pay as a punishment. That would be illegal, then.
And what happens if there's more in tips? When everyone's wage is at minimum and there's still cash left over? Will it be shared or will mr goldstein pocket it?
