Family Guy had a bad period where they went full libtard and Brian was the voice of libertarian logic and reason, putting forth Seth's own enlightened world view. But they sorted their shit out and accepted it was seriously pretentious and made Brian more of a cunt. That was good.

The reason it got cancelled was because it was on the fucking WB (which also no longer exists), when the material was much more up the alley of Adult Swim (where the remaining episodes were aired and where it garnered much of its cult following) or even MTV. In my opinion, the comedy was excellent; you can definitely see that Oakley and Weinstein were former Simpsons writers. And the music fit the show to a T, what are you talking about?
