People keep saying /r9k/ is shit and it's just full of neckbeards complaining about having no gf, but there is more to it than that. Seeing threads that let me know there are others out there like me is nice. I see this place as comforting and sometimes funny. Funny in a "hah,no way! that embarrassing thing happened to me too and I also wanted to kill myself" kind of way. If I didn't know you guys were out there I probably would have thought I was alone in a world full of normies. I would think that I was even more weird than I am and would have ended my life a long time ago. If I had a friend in real life I think I would want them to be from r9k.

Oh, and a tip I like for logarithms is: the answer to a logarithm is an exponent. So, log base 2 of 8 is the exponent 3 because 2^3=8. I'm not very good at explaining.
