Why don't any of the other boards have cute names? The main draw to an anonymous website is that you can post what you like without having to worry about your reputation. While this helps to stop echo chambers from sprouting up it doesn't completely stop it. There aren't any other boards that echo like /pol/ does though.

Even though this has been established, if you post an argument that goes against the grain, you get a bunch of replies making your argument more visible to people. If it makes an argument that has been debunked hundreds of times on the board, people will dismiss as a troll, but if it hasn't been debunked, people will feel free to argue with you and defend their long held opinion. Just like anywhere else on 4chan except centered around alt right politics. If it truly was an echo chamber, their would be an upvote system to make some voices louder than others, and mods who delete posts with unique opinions (reddit).
