if you're not competitive right out of uni you won't be fucking competitive with a gap on your resume. that's some horseshit. you "figure out" your career possibilities a year before you even get your bachelors if it's a real career. what kind of masters is it that you need time to think about what you can do? people sometimes take breaks after school to fuck around and travel, not to worry about their jobs.
