how the fuck do people get jobs constantly? As if it were the easiest thing in the world? I got my resume professionally edited by my university, I had my friends, brother, and my mom look at it, I tailor my resume painstakingly for each job, and I change my cover letter even, but somehow this isnt enough. I've applied to so many fucking jobs so far it's retarded. I've counted 100 this month. I'm actually starting to run out of positions to apply for other than the new ones that pop up.

How can anyone say it's easy unless they're some sort of bragging prick?

Whether people want to admit it or not many jobs are gotten through nepotism.

Go to stores\restaurants and hand them your cv irl. Dont expect a lot from applying online.
>>
I don't get it either. People who quit or get fired every couple of months have an easier time finding a job than I ever did.

This. Especially jobs that would otherwise require an effort towards the application. Get a network.

real unemployment numbers are higher.

Here in US, it's like 15% unemployment, in reality most people can't find job or dropped out of work force.

Time to go neet.

Tried applying for jobs - doesn't work. Eventually got my job sending a speculative resume directly to a company asking for a work, had a job (good professional job) within a week.

Gotta change tack faggot.

What makes you worth hiring from the perspective of a company? Do you have previous work experience that gives them some idea of how useful you are? A useful degree, a good GPA? If your resume is spiffy and nicely spruced up by your university, family and friends, but all it says is "University of Fellatio, 2012-2016, 2.8 GPA", with no work experience, and a major in English, why would they hire you?
