Well for starters there are the better versions of those. Instead of a college bar or a dive, you could go to a cocktail lounge or jazz club. In any decent sized city there are bound to be any number of band shows (both bigtime and local), art galleries, plays, local colleges or unis are bound to have something interesting going on. I'm 25 I think I've earn a few "nights in". I've spent a lot of time partying, hanging out with people, making new friends, watching old friends drift off into their own lives. I've worked in sevearl different fields, learned a bunch of useless skills and some I find myself using nearly weekly. I've spent days out at a time and only stopped back home to wash my face and change my shirt before heading into work after spending an entire weekend in a different state.
I've earned the right to stay in and do nothing OP. just because you're under the assumption that everyone under 30 has to go out every single weekend doesn't mean everyone does. In fact very few do. I climb buildings with nothing but a set of gloves, I hang out in ghetto neighborhoods just for the adrenaline rush, I skydive, I bike down mountains and cycle, I try to get into crazy situations, I to urban exploration, I'm currently exercising to get into parkour.
Best part is: I do this all on my own. Majority of people are too chickenshit to do what I do and simply go to bars, get drunk, and maybe fuck. Rinse-repeat, rinse-repeat EVERY WEEKEND
