I was a hikki back around 2012-2014. If you don't count going to the store for food and alcohol on occasion then I was basically alone in my room for 2 years not talking to anyone except 4chan and not doing anything except vidya and fapping.
I have essentially done that for the majority of my young adult life though. The only difference was the more extended periods of time completely alone. I was pissing in bottles and ignoring all possible communication with society outside my room.
a few nights made it almost worth it. theres no real feeling that can describe when you're smoking a cigarrette and drinking a beer at 4am listening to weeb music with a funny /r9k/ thread and trap porn in the background after getting the good end of a VN and having not spoken a word for months while slowly losing sanity and feeling like a derelict from your own life.

I spend my days in front of my PC shitposting and watching anime. My parents pick up vodka for me because they pity me, and they buy me ramen which I eat for lunch and dinner. I only leave my room twice a day, and often piss into bottles to extend the time I have away from other people. I haven't even gone out in the yard of my house since 2015, since I'm afraid someone will see me. I've considered putting in job applications, but I know that wouldn't do anything since I'm afraid to leave the house. Its a Catch 22.

Hardly any of us are hiki's. You're kidding yourself if you think because you stay inside for 3 days or more that you've earned that title. Most people would agree that it's 1 month minimum, but even that's low-tier. And this is just my opinion, but I would imagine any true hiki's to at most lurk due to the extreme social withdrawal.
But apart from that. I've been a NEET for 9 years, semi shut-in since I do go out to buy food or just walk to relieve leg cramps from sitting all day. Haven't been outside for I think 5 days now, maybe 6.

I think it's closer to 3 weeks at this point. For a while I was making semi-regular trips to a Dollar General to pick up $10 worth of junk food that'd last me a few days. But the desire to binge on junk has left, and now I haven't gone there recently.
