For the first 3 days, I noticed a difference, but it only lasted about 4 hours, if that. I got a massage after my haircut one of those three days and noticed my muscles were actually relaxed and not tight. I even didn't crave cigarettes during those 3-4 hours. I felt like I used to feel before my deployments.
Now I don't notice. My physical symptoms are still apparent, my muscles are still tight. I still shake, sweat, and get butterflies in my stomach in crowds (The anxiety is a symptom of my PTSD). Since it's a blood pressure medication, I'm hesitant to discuss a higher dose with my psychiatrist. It doesn't seem healthy, but these doctors are pill pushers and will always tell me it's safe.
