Take a class. Cooking can be fun. Or photography.
Alternatively, try a hobby. Anything where you meet people in a setting that suits you. Warhammer is a good game for autists like us. Amateur drama always has spots for people like us. Or even a light sport like bowling or tennis.
Finally, a good way to meet nice people is to volunteer for a charity. Animal shelters always need people. Old people charities tend to have laid back people who won't judge you.

There's a good reason why I don't have any friends, I get fucking terrified when people talk to me - I clam up, raise my guard and generally look tense and angry. I can't help it, I just want people to like me and so I filter everything I say to ensure it's not offensive which leads me to sound boring as fuck.
That would be a good plan for a normal person though, thanks anon.

>be robbed of social contact by harsh normie society
>actually volunteering to help this society FOR FREE
Those old people were probably popular normies too since they've survived all these years without falling victim to suicide or terrible habits.
