Who /finally found a job and is now happier than ever even though it's a menial labor job that doesn't pay much but at least you don't have to spend day after day in your room running out of excuses and ways to entertain yourself/ here?
>>
Menial labor jobs are good because they are low stress.
>>
>>27386886
Yeah, I'm still not hating it even after 3 months.
>>
>>27386937

It's the best time to save money. If you get a higher paying and higher stress office job, you will eat your paycheck trying to de-stress.
>>
I'm pretty sure noone is. I miss being a neet and actually doing stuff. It was the best three years of my life. Anyone who doesn't like being a neet is either a liar or not actually a neet. There is literally no downside to being neet.
>>
>>27386886
this. no project deadlines hanging over your head, no performance reports to worry over, no upcoming meetings to prepare for
>show up
>do shit
>get paid
>go home
>>
>>27386835
That is a nice picture. Do you know who those people are?

Cute lesbians, of course.

>neet for 8 years
>feeling worthless
>not going anywhere in life
>won't have a future (i don't get NEET money)
>lost all friends, because i have nothing to talk about
>can't talk to people because i'm an embarrassing failure
>all those above my life is over

Of course being a NEET isn't my only problem, but it's greatly contributing.
>>
People who are not being able to use Neet time are basically stupid Normies who crave for human way of living.

Greatest mind of world were Neets because they knew how to use that time.

If you cant have fun while being neet just admit you are normie and go call your friends for beer at pub.

>menial labor part-time job
>enough to rent my own place but barely
>low stress work, nice atmosphere
>enough nice colleagues yet enough time spent doing my own job to not saturate socializing
>living on my own means no longer feeling guilty for leeching off of parents
It sucks having a conscience sometimes; I can't imagine how pride in leeching works.
>no longer feeling a waste of space
>spare time left is still enough but also more valuable allowing better time distribution
I'm glad to say I'm actually content with my life right now. There's still a lot of improvement possible, but where I used to forfeit any potential growth I'm now slowly looking into ways to improve from here on. Having a base to build from is surprisingly nice.

It can be difficult to find that right work:spare-time rate though, I'm pretty sure a stressful full-time job with tonnes of responsibilities over things that are out of one's control, with a lot of overtime expected/demanded from you, can figuratively kill you.

>>27386886
Agreed. It's not for everyone, but for those either just starting a job again after a long hiatus, or not really that ambitious (which - contrary to general "normies'" belief - is okay) it can be a good way to make your own money to actually try and move forward. Relatively low risk, to boot.

I started working about 1.5 years ago, started living on my own a bit over a year ago, and I have a first gf since last week; something I deemed impossible 2 years ago at age 27. Coincidentally I met her while I was already content with the single life.
>>
>>27388620
Good for you, anon. I'm in the exact same position except I can't afford to move out just yet.
>>
>>27390201
Thank you. It took some time and such, but it was well worth working towards.
Good on you as well that you started moving forward with bigger steps, Anon. I hope you'll be able to afford moving out soon, it likely will be a whole different experience altogether. Best of luck, man.

please post more pics of this cute couple

You sure haven't used your NEET time to learn proper english, scumbag.
>>
>>27386835
In some ways I'm happier, but in many other ways I'm not.

>Everyday I see happy couples walking around hand I hand, even fucking kissing eachother in public - I will never be that happy and I hate them for flaunting their happiness
>Speaking with work colleagues is a daily struggle, they can see I'm not a social personal and mock me for not interacting and conversing well with them
>>
>>27386835
I have job right now but still unhappy. When i was neet i was sad because i used to feel useless, now when i see peoples happier than me, i feel loneliness and sort of hopelessness. I leave my job at the end of week with feeling of despair since its weekend and i have nowhere to go, and nothing to do. Work does not make me happy either, i drag myself through half a day there and there, with feeling of apathy and i wonder why i must suffer so much
>>
Anyone else here is an office worker who wishes they had a labor job instead ? I work in an office and wish that I had become a plumber instead. You get to move around, provide a service that actually matters and you don't have to worry about work when you go home.
>>
>>27391487
Sure you have a point. What are some labor works that made me feel precious for repearing stuff and also isnt struggle?
>>
>>27391487
I live in Russia. There are not so much menial labor specialists here. And if you know how to do stuff, it is relatively simple to earn decent money, but you have to promote yourself. No bosses, only clients.

Bonus points: if you are a registered unemployed and you wish to start doing such stuff, government will give you some money(60000 rubles or slightly less then $1k, as I recall) to buy instruments and print some advertise. They will also give you free training.
>>
>>27391523

All work is a struggle at least manual labor is kinda important, the spreadsheet that you work on in an office isn't. And when you go home you don't have to worry about a deadline or office politics etc.
>>
>>27391573
>office politics
Pure evil
>>
OP, may I ask what company you work for and what your job title is? I'm curious about how you found your job, it seems like the perfect /r9k/ position.

To all my fellow robots out there, avoid any job with customer service. It is horrible and soul-draining. Being a cashier caused massive emotional trauma for me. Customers will treat you like utter shit and get pissed at you for the stupidest reasons.
>>
>>27391611
I'm a soldier
>>
>>27386835
Me.

>have a job
>I'm my own boss
>spend most of the day shitposting, learning nihongo, or reading books
>been saving up money for four years and can pretty much buy whatever the fuck I want
>been saving for a Porsche but decided last year I'll move to Japan instead
>never tell /r9k/ what I do so you fags dont saturate my market

I enjoy all the benefits of being NEET with the income of a normie, and it's my ticket out of this country.
>>
>>27386835
Nah. After 2 years working in a shitty kmart Im now busting my ass in college to graduate with a stem degree. Then I'll join the military, become an officer and go up the ladder where it's easy road from there. Big annual salaries, kidsing higher ups asses and paperwork
>>
>>27391674
Definitely not a security worker.
>>
I hate being a wagie and I hated being neet, what do?
>>
>>27391707
Try being a sailor, an emergency worker, or join the military.
>>
>>27391674
>>27391685
Not that anon but
>work for process engineering on night shift
>have my own office
>supposed to provide support for machines in my factory
>occassionaly given low level engineering work
>only do about 3 hours of actual work in an 8 hour night
>spend time listening to music and watching animu
>and learning nip and following qt nip girls on twitter [/spoiler[
>>
>>27391707
Do like >>27391732 said. You might also try starting some small business.
>>
>>27386835
im stuck on the first part
>tfw neet

>>27386835
Mental labor is harder than manual. Do not ever try to earn money by selling your brain resources.
>>
I'm 4 months into a NEET job and I love it... 0 stress ...ok pay...everyone is going to look down on me BC of it but idgaf...

As long as it's well paid, I don't see the problem. I get good money from working at the airport at night and it helps killing the day. I work for 5 hours only and still have most of the day for myself. NEETing around is only great for a short time, or at least for me. I literally run out of things to do and find myself extremely bored most of the time.

+ You've get to see some work m8's and you can make good friends there. That little social contact, helps me stay sane.
>>
>>27392028
Im in a job with very little requirements, eg for neets
>>
>>27392183
What job is it? I wish I could get a job like that, but I don't even know where to apply to for something like that.
>>
>>27392210
I'm in manufacturing... Look around for local manufacturing jobs in industrial parks etc. ...hopefully you'll find one that pays well :)
>>
>work part time at home depot, on the freight team.
>get paid to unload pallets of stuff onto carts and then put product on shelves
>easy as hell, minimal social ability required, time goes by quickly.
>good way to stay fit, probably walk 3 miles or more at work every day.
If any robots need a job right now, home depot is hiring a ton of people because it's springtime now. They'll literally hire anyone as long as you can pass the drug test.

>>
>>27387254
>graduate high school
>work for a few weeks
