naw canada isnt really what op is looking for, and Im canadian. Most of Canada is the epitome of mediocre, middle of the road or unexciting. Paint is faded, bridges are rusty, roads are bumpy, etc. He'd probably want to go somewhere in europe like sweden or something. The only thing is there will be tons of extremely old buildings in europe, but places like germany or whatever also have really new infrastructure.

North/Northwest suburbs are nice as hell and mostly white. No way your poor ass could afford Winnetka or even Naperville but Schaumburg is decent.
