It just parrots and learns phrases. It doesn't know what it's saying can be considered offensive to society people and has no understanding what the meanings of the words it is repeating. Basically it's just a mirror into what people tweet at it. Really nothing new has been learned only just another glimpse into why "bots" are not well designed and how far AI needs to go before it actually "understands" language, context, and self awareness.
