Ex-Muslim here. Looking at food does not help, it only makes hunger worse. Gum also makes it 1000X worse. Just man the fuck up and fast for a bit. Either that or eat the shitty food and exercise enough to counteract it.

Food pics will only make you hungrier. In psychology, we learned the best way to not feel pain other than painkillers is distraction. You just need to find a hobby that'll distract you from your hunger. For me, it was playing Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. I would start at noon and before I knew it, it was 6:00.
