I don't think you understand how the universe works. The universe is roughly 14 billion years old and if you're truly immortal you will only die when all matter in the universe is broken down. So basically imagine floating is space for many billions of years. The time spent with actual living beings is almost nothing in comparison. It's the worst torture imaginable so no I wouldn't.
