>we take the test and shoot the shit waiting for the scores to come back
>we're call kind of resigned to defeat, but the teacher says he's sure we're going to do great

>I scored the highest of everyone there, my other two teammates scored 3rd and 4th.

It felt so good to live up to someone's expectations of me. That he could see through my mediocre grades and believe I was just as smart as all the teacher's pets.
