Literally the game that awakened Miyazaki to the possibilities of the medium. You know how dark souls uses its world and frames some actions in a certain way to tell a story unlike other videogame that is just gameplay+cutscene? That's what you'll see in ICO (as a bonus you'll get some huge undead burg vibes). Shadow of the Colossus stepped up the environmental storytelling game and it's my personal favorite for a number of reasons (open world being one of those) also because it's much more "emotional". Fumito Ueda's team can tell so much with so little.

It's the name of the little boy you play as. I suspect it comes from "De Chirico", a metaphysical painter that inspired Ueda to paint the box art for the game (which I've posted before). Not only that, his influence shows in the game as well, you'll see how.
