I find that earplugs are a great solution to anxiety. Not being able to hear anything really calms me down a ton.
If you're not up to anything but just lying around, adding a blindfold helps even more, but obviously you can't surf the web if you can't see or hear anything.

I am hearing things and i can't tell if I'm hearing them through the earphones or they're noises my brain is tricking me into thinking I'm hearing

I wear earmuffs to dinner table and when I do the dishes. Pretty comfy to be alone with my own thoughts.
i have tinnitus so earplugs only makes the constant ringing more noticeable. which in turn gives me more anxiety. its rough not being able to sleep without several objects making noise to drown out the ringing.
