You are a despicable coward. If she's not interested in you, then you sitting on your hands hemming and hawing is not going to magically make her turn around and become interested in you. But if she is interested in you, there is a real possibility that she loses interest and/or finds someone else while you are twiddling your thumbs. The way you fuck this up is by INACTION, not by action. Getting rejected is not the end of the world, but failing to get anywhere because you're too much of a coward is pretty fucking bad.
