Why do video games no longer entertain me?
You're probably just burnt out on them.
Watch anime for a couple weeks instead.
It also could be that you're playing shit video games.

Most video games are repetitive
Find something from a genre you don't like
Or do what this anon said >>27325828
Books are fun

This, it might help. Also, try ICO and Shadow of the Colossus, it will unlock a new perspective about video games as art, and make everything more entertaining.

stop playing game that got released after 2006

It's because you have depression, my man.
>>27325804
because you are not manchild enough to pretend they are real
You probably have probably realised there is something else you can better spend your time on. My advice is to do different things, you don't have to quit vidya but spend more time on different things (you might actually enjoy them).

Anon is right OP, especially if you are in neetdom.
For me this happened at around 3 years ago and it has not changed since. The video game hobby to me just started feeling like a total waste of time becuase around that time i had started a new hobby. So now i feel bad whenever i dont practice my new more productive hobby than playing video games. I still enjoy super casual games tho that can be jumped into for 10-30 minutes, like heartstone and rythm games.
I started to try new things when that happened and now I have a nice balance of animation in general, film, vidya, and books.
