It's made for throwing around corners, not racing V8's and AWD turbo shitboxes. It might have more of a chance supercharged but that doesn't cross the average driver's mind.

I know, neither was my car But you're right, their owners are clueless, thinking its some sort of high caliber sports car Stock.
I kind of dig it, except for its notorious boxer engine, its rwd, light if you get rid of stuff, and its got an abundant aftermarket, and its fun to toss around.
If I were to get one, I'd get rid of the rear seats, swap the heavy OEM wheels for light Rfp1s or te37s, suspension mods, and eventually some forced induction.

A 3S-GTE swap would be how I'd approach it, but I could just get a GT-Four instead of getting an 86 just for the swap.
