Personality just means that you are interesting to converse with. If you can tell me information that is both unknown to me and relevant to my interests, then you have an interesting personality.

With personality they mean a personality that doesn't suck. When it comes to women, they want you to be confident and really honest, just say what you're thinking or want without being scared of offending people (but without being a dick). Of course there are exceptions though, if you're a /pol/tard and are very honest about your racist opinions, not a lot of people will like that for example.

Also, people like funny people, so a sense of humor helps a lot too.
