So I walked onto campus a liberal, never had my views challenged.
I met up with some cute girls in a mandatory sociology class and said I was an undecided major. They pretty much sucked me into the social justice cult. I crushed hard on this one chick, and basically orbited her. She seemed to like the attention.
Anyway through a series of shenanigans, I ended up declaring my major "gender studies" and joined that group.
They assumed I was gay and I was too autistic to realize that until they started asking me about what it was like to be gay.... 3 days before graduation.
So here I am, virgin, with a worthless degree from a private (but thankfully non-profit) uni.

I started seriously teaching myself a year ago and I'm kicking myself for not starting ten years ago. I've made so much progress in one year I know I could have been fluent if I didnt procrastinate so much.
If any of you want to learn a language, even if you just have a passing interest, start today. Not tomorrow. Today. Go on piratebay and download audio tapes, go to /trv/ and check their wiki. Dont put it off. Just spend one hour today working on it.
