who /runs a fan non-stop/ here
It doesn't get that hot here often.
>>27307263
Does it keeping ask for autographs like mine?
>>27307263
Reporting for whrrr
>>27307263
I do that, but it's not always because it's hot, it's just that I don't like my room being really quiet so I turn the fan on.
>>27307263
Does a computer fan count?
No, I don't live in some third-world hellhole. It's cold here and I'm all comfy and wrapped up in blankets.
>>27307263
>getting your hair caught in it when sleeping
if i don't have some type of fan running, whether its a computer fan or just a regular fan, i can't go to sleep
i'm so used to the sound of fans running that silence freaks me out
How the fuck can I keep my computer room cool? I feel like a swamper would fuck my shit
me. but I don't wanna do it so often because your ear starts falling off and you get tinnitus and dry eyes from that shit constantly running.
would rather have air conditioning.
>>27307347
Getting assblasted about fans, fuck this board, also fucking no matter where you live it can get warm in your house because you know, you are a human that gives off heat.
>>27307403
Open door to the rest of the house while you are out. Thats what i do.
>>27307263
Enjoy your radiation
>>27307326
>>27307399
aw shit, I know these feels.
feels awful, better turn on some streamer you like for background noise or some music.
>>27307434
I've tried leaving some music on but I don't really like that, I much prefer the noise of the fan. Plus I'm already used to it.
>>27307263
Reporting in, my 4th floor apartment has too many fucking windows and gets the morning sun so it's always fucking hot in here I run the air conditioning nearly every day and sleep with a fan blasting me every night
>>27307403
I put it out in the lounge instead of my room and it stopped heating the room up so much I used to live in a fucking sauna when it was in my bedroom
>>27307418
My body is as cold as my heart
*unsheaths katana*
>>27307502
I still listen to white noise on top of my PC being on, i really enjoy hearing the sounds of water in pipes, like if someone is taking a shower in another part of the house.
>>27307263
Only in summer. I burn through a fan once/year it seems. I also live in an older house and the dust is outrageous, so that could be affecting the motors n shit.
Right here op
I can't sleep without my fan on. Sometimes it means sleeping with three blankets though.
>>27307640
Yea same here, even on winter I sleep with my fan on. I need the noise of the fan to sleep.
>>27307326
>>27307434
>>27307502
>>27307558
I thought I was the only one. This is the only way I can feel comfortable in my room, I need ambient noise.
>>27307418
How angry you get about seeing people different than you doesn't have to do with the board you're on, anon.
>>27307399
This, but for me there's also something about the combination of a cool breeze and warm blankets that allows me to better regulate my body temperature and sleep much more easily.
I usually don't run my fan when I'm not sleeping because of cold air conditioning, but it is nice sometimes, especially on 95 degree days when the air conditioning can't quite keep up.
>>27307597
>the dust is outrageous, so that could be affecting the motors n shit.
Dust buildup could block airflow around the motor or hang up the blades, but a quick blowing out with compressed air and a couple drops of oil once every few months should be all a good fan needs to keep going for decades. If you're burning up fans in a matter of a year, though, I suspect it's just because they're cheap Chinese junk that would've failed anyway.
My nightly fan is a Westinghouse from 1934 which has likely never been serviced outside of occasional oiling and cleaning what can be cleaned with no disassembly.
>>27307684
I know and that makes me depressed, people get so bootyblasted if you are different from them, it a default reaction, because people view on life and egos are so fragile
>tfw tinnitus
>have to choose between *EEEEEEEEE* or *whrrr*
Fans are alright.
My obese NEET friend does
>>27307263
You and me brother. At first I just got it to drown out the noise from my neighbors because the walls are paper thin here but now I can't sleep without one.
It's actually kinda gotten to the point I feel uncomfortable in a room without some kind of whitenoise or air circulation going.
>Have noisy family
>Run fan non-stop
>Eyes get sprained quite badly from the constant wind
>Drinking lots of water to promote as much hydration as possible
>Strain mutilated dick from pissing so frequently
>Injure strained urethra by accidentally rubbing it against toilet seat as I sat down on it
Eyes feel close to being back to normal and I have an appointment with a urologist on Thursday.
>this thread
I thought I was the only one who does this.
>>27308929
Oh no, my throat feels strange. Please don't tell me I'm catching my sister's flu. PLEASE.
DICK INJURY FLU COMBO PLEASE NO.
>>27307282
>implying a fan in chilly weather isn't super cozy.
>>27307263
>high 80s to 90s
>only fan in apt aimed at computer case with panel off
Who else?
>>27307263
>tfw trying to sleep without a fan
Shit is impossible for me.
>>27307263
I put a 20x20 filter on the back of mine so it captures dust.
