I've been doing them for a while. Been finding myself a lot calmer and happier when I'm on them. I recommend it.

I do live in a rough neigbourhood, you obviously are just dressing too well out there. Wear shitty stuff, or make yourself look big, and they won't bother you.

I walk around my local lake which is about 4 miles 3 to 6 times a week. Helps a lot.
It gets boring after a while, when you live in some small European shithole.

Been a couple months that I haven't gone for a night walk. But I defo will be starting again soon, it's very relaxing - comfy. Helps me clear my mind and think about life and shit like that.

I went on one recently. There's a nice river and small park close to my campus that doesn't have any foot traffic at night. I also bring a small carved turtle I named Jeb for company.
I live by innawoods/dirt road so not much for me to do.

It's fucking freezing around here at the moment, but when summer comes I'm going nocturnal. The world is so much prettier and more interesting by night. I find the quiet very calming too.
