I'm not liberal or conservative, I'm moderate. Some issues require a conservative approach and some require a liberal one.
I lean more towards authoritarian liberalism thanks to the political compass but mostly because I believe that people will invariably fall into hierarchies and these hierarchies will become governments, and that government and rules are inexorable facts of life.
