OS X is the best desktop OS, period. Windows is barely usable, even for gaming and I clearly moved from Gentoo to a Mac.

If you're using a smartphone you already forfeit your privacy. I want connivence. Trying to remain private in this day and age is silly. Google could theoretically build a profile on you even if you never used a computer in your life. It only takes a few people you know talking about you on Facebook combined with public record.

Whatsapp would have Facebook tracking me for sure.
KiK and Snapchat are both smartphone only and hardly like typical IM. Telegram is the only multi-platform IM protocol worth using at the moment.

wubi lets you dual boot ubuntu which is great for beginners.
Here is mine. I hope to get a really cool look some day with rain metere and a wall paper. There is another add-on i have but atm i'm not using it because im too lazy to configure it.

Just werks. Simple playlist organizing, folder /artist view, library management functionally, lightweight. All in all unmatched compared to the other native alternatives for my use case, works perfectly under WINE too.

my debian install isn't anything but a terminal at this point
I messed up and did an offline minimal install so I have to fix that before I can do any customization
