I don't get the point of moving out if you don't have a wife or kids. I just turned 23 and now make 78k a year. My parents handle all food and bills. I think parents should support their kids as long as necessary if the kids are willing to cooperate by doing something like going to college. If you're simply going to kick them out at 18 then your not fully raising them with the skills to live independently. Basically you're a half assed parent. If the kid refuses to move forward in life and lives as a leech then it might be a viable option to force them to work or kick them out.
