I download everything to an SD card first then move it to my D drive. Got used to doing that because in the early SSD days it was paranoid as fuck and every write was precious. Sometimes files would fuck up while download so I just keep an SD card there.
Still do it even though most of my writes are on my HDD anyway, just force of habit.

One time I spent like 12 hours organizing my entire picture/video folders because my OCD was catching up to me how disorganized my drive was.
I felt really fucking good when I was finished though, like I had a boner with how perfect I had everything but now I just organizing everything I save on the spot to avoid that hassle again.
