The Fragile was personally my favorite album of theirs, but anything NIN is just pure robot music.
Also the fact that the dude got clean and started lifting and got himself a qt azn waifu and started producing mainstream movie scores is amazing. He's one of my personal heroes.

God damn. This album is just self loathing. Not as Sad as Pink Floyd's The Wall (which inspired Downward Spiral) but it's just bitter insecurities and feelings of excited delirium juxtaposed in a beautiful mess.

Yeah, I just got into his work. All that I have listened to is: But, What Ends When the Symbols Shatter, and Rose Clouds of the Holocaust. I swear every single song that I hear is so beautiful, uplifting, and calming. He is one of the few musicians that seems to help with my anxiety.

Lots of self-loathing and suicidal themes on that album.
