Benzos are extremely addictive. This is not something you should taking just to get high. It's not even prescribed for any conditions on a long-term basis because addiction is inevitable.
Your body also builds a tolerance to it very quickly, like within just a few weeks. Maybe just a few days for some people. You would nonetheless suffer the effects of withdrawal even if you could tolerate higher dosages.
Benzo withdrawals are possibly the worst thing your body can live through. You don't even want to go there. This is why suicide is so common with addiction.

Just took 2mg of xanax because I had a really shitty day.
I've been taking vyvanse for about 6 months (With a very low dose of adderall ir to hold off the crash) but it wasn't doing much for me anymore so we switched to adderall xr. I've been taking it for two days and it makes me so fucking irritable while it's active, besides maybe a 30 minute period where I'm really happy.
Took one xanax when I got home and I started to chill out. Took another one about a half hour ago and now I'm a bit drowsy but overall pretty warm, irritability isn't nearly as bad. I'm a little talkative and very open. Sometimes when I take 2mg I get amnesia, so I'm hoping that doesn't happen.
Everything listed was prescribed to me by a licensed psychiatrist, but the xanax was prescribed for panic attacks not irritability.

Xanax is not a daily drug, it has like a 3 day half-life and it's meant for extreme cases but it's certainly safe to take it at least every 5 days but at 7 you are fine.
I've taken them on and off for 2 years, never had to up my dose. Sometimes I took them every week, sometimes every 2 weeks, sometimes I went like a month or two without one. It's fine if you don't abuse it.

Problem with benzos is that they due to their nature are mostly prescribed to people with severe anxiety issues (anxiety almost always being a 24/7 problem). It's like giving a drug addict a button that gives them a high, and then expect them to have the discipline to not click it too often. Just a terrible series of drugs that are more or less the psychopharma equivalent of "selling your soul to the devil". Arguably the only people who should get them prescribed are the ones with severe treatment-resistant panic attacks and people who are dying due to some disease and so on.
