Could be. In my experience, girls love Old Spice. I used to wear Old Spice Pure Sport for a while, and my ex fucking loved that scent (granted, she was autistic, so your point may yet stand, but it sure as hell got her wet).
Then I had to stop wearing that stuff because it began to give me allergic reactions. Skin fucking sloughing off my armpit. Shit was awful. Then she was kinda upset because I didn't have the scent anymore, so I went and got the Pure Sport aftershave just to smell sexy.
Now I just wear pic related. Other natural deodorants generally just don't fucking work, and the smell produced by their combination with sweat is arguably more offensive than just sweat without them.

But generally I'm always clean and I don't sweat much even in the hottest of weather.
