I first came here 9 years ago when I was 15. Just lurked /b/ every once in a while, no big deal. Did that until I was 18 and then stopped coming here entirely.
When I was 19 and finished school, I didn't have anything to do for half a year, so I decided to come back and see what all the other boards have to offer. Got hooked on /tv/ and /gif/. Startet posting in greentext threads on /b/. Visited multiple times a week for 2 years or so.
Tried to quit it a few times during that time, always came back after a moth or so. Needed new porn /gif/ provided me with. That's when my porn addiction started.
I managed to not visit 4chan for a year, then some 15 y/o on the bus talked about this "great new site" he found. Came back just to see what had changed. Nothing really, but I was hooked on /gif/ again and started browsing /v/ and /pol/.
Then the Fappening happened and I spent ~14h daily on various boards here for two weeks. Decided it was time to quit. Stopped coming here again for a year or so.
Made some new friends at uni, they visit /fa/, /sp/ and /mu/ sometimes. Wanted to check out those boards, never really spent much time there. /sp/ was the only remotely intersting out of those.
But I was sucked in again, not as bad this time though. Only checked out /pol/, /tv/ and /sp/ maybe once a week.
Then last fall, I got my heart broken by my oneitis. Was completely devastated and seeked comfort on /r9k/. I started posting greentext regularly. Since November I've been on this board for ~40-50 hours/week. I just can't quit. Continuous girl problems bring me deeper and deeper into this shit.
I can't escape 4chan.

Yeah, I don't know where my life is going but I don't see how I'll escape, at least not entirely. It's that same feeling alcoholics talk about when they had their first drink and it just 'clicked'.
