Right, but I don't think it's a choice. It's not entirely fair to belittle people who want to an hero as illogical. Some people were just born with a personality that is extremely robust, some aren't. It has nothing to do with anything except for their genes.

I'm pissed about how I got my job honestly. You always hear the connections are the way to get jobs, and I personally think its terrible that we've gotten to that point.
My friend told me to talk to someone in my town that he works with. I went over to the place, a shitty cafe in a rough part of town, and talked to the manager for 5 minutes. She just wanted me to come in the next week and start training. It was all under the table for a good couple weeks. Didnt even sign any tax forms for the first month I worked there.
I'm in no place to be giving advice, but keep your head up, check out your local job services for bulk job offers, and stay off drugs til you land one. (Had a hard time with that one personally)

I feel it's a break from a lot of the completely stale tropes of the mainstream, but it's kind of weird.
It seems this studio wants to make their animation stand out by adding interesting dynamic elements (such as characters accidentally spilling things, tripping over, etc) but it's often choppy and out-of place; it kind of seems like the characters spaz out randomly in the course of their activities.
Some of the character interactions look a little forced and exaggerated too.
It's like the studio genuinely cares but just tries too hard.
The story isn't really drawing me in that much either, although I thought the character introductions and developments are pretty solid. Maybe it's because I've been bingeing on series recently and my brain needs a rest from anime again.
It has its style and a certain dignity, which I can respect, but I'm just not blown away yet.

meh. I don't think it really is.
It has a few interesting ideas, but overall I didn't understand what the big deal was.
Sayaka was annoying (chooses to suffer then de facto kills herself because emo), the red haired loli was a walking cliche, thermodynamics is disregarded (Kyuubei: the universe is "losing" energy), time loops were already done by Higurashi, Madoka is another god mc (where have we seen that before, Lain/Haruhi?), Mami appeared in like 3 episodes in total as a plot device.
I guess the tension between QB and Homura over influencing Madoka was intriguing, as well as the grief seed thing, but otherwise, I don't know. Also I thought the whole magical girl energy-harvesting idea was a little unnatural and seemed kind of tacked on. They could have developed the story without explaining who QB was or their motives, would have probably made the series even darker.
But I admit the music is indeed god-tier.

In that case I would suggest Boku no Pico by Natural High. The word "Pico" refers to the greek prefix "pico-" referring to the scale of 10^-12 metres, a scale at which atoms and smaller quantum particles exist, and one can expect to see a clever infusion of quantum principles and theories weaved into the structure of the narrative.
Granted, it's an OVA, but it's a riveting and well-written psychological drama, with plenty of action in OVA 2 and 3 that brings the plot to a satisfying, profound and intellectually stimulating resolution.
Heartily recommended.

I saw Yuu Yu Hakusho on TV when i was a kid, now I'm 19, it's a good anime.
just finished Soul Eater NOT! and it gets way too much hate for the genre change, I thought it was a pretty good spinoff.
I'm also thinking about rewatching cardcaptor sakura or just something light and happy. need something that isn't too plot heavy so I can draw while watching
