Nothing. Who listens to music all the time?

This album is sad, like I don't even want to listen to it again because I just feel sad.
>>27173100

people who like to, obviously

If so, that was me and I have to say thank you for the great recommendation, I've been listening to that album frequently ever since and it's awesome.

Who /Tom Waits/ here?
I've listened to all of his albums at least 4 or 5 times. I love him so much. Every album is unique and wonderful, the writing is amazing, his voice is fantastic, and listening to it makes me feel very manly, his later stuff I mean. Just listen to this and try not to feel like a fucking cool cowboy. It's masculine in a way that faggy metal shit could never hope to be:

I can't believe how long it's been since Dubstep wasn't Brostep and Dub Police wasn't unlistenable (but it was always basically a label full of subpar Coki wannabees).

I also like what Exit have been releasing since forever (Zed Bias and Fracture have both released decent EPs on there this year, and they seem to be quite into crossing over with Footwork sounding things) and I also like what Critical Recordings are putting out recently. Same with Samurai Music but they can get a bit too ambient for my liking.
as far as dark sounding bass heavy stuff goes, Keysound and Tectonic are leading the way over the last few years (Keysound was my label of the year 2014 and Tectonic was my label of the year 2015 and it had an absolutely brilliant year, not a single bad release I thought). Deep Medi and System are always around as well.
>>27178290
Hardstyle was a blight upon the warehouse scene since the early 2000's. Trance, techno and acid are far superior electronic dance genres. Granted, pretty much everything's devolved into shitty normie-core with no power in it anymore. The trance is top 40 for normies at the beach, techno is thudthudthud Berghain-core for hipsters to sway back and forth to in a Boiler Room video, acid isn't even a thing and hasn't been since the early 2000's.
For straight electronic music, the pretentious "wave" genres are the only listentoable new material I'm hearing.

I'm genuinely impressed with some of R9k's musical taste, as opposed to 14yr old /b/ listening to niggery and Skrillex, or /pol/ shilling horrible powermetal and other cringe-core.
