for the hair, I first draw the shape then (for Akashi per exemple) I make regular and thin lines respecting the form
for the clothes, the arms are the biggest problem for me, the shape of a nice shoulder/elbow is a bit hard to do, I sometimes need to redo some lines
but I'm not that good, it is best to read some tutos I guess

You just have to learn to stop, before your sketch gets too cluttered with lines. But you're a natural and will only get better if you care to apply yourself.

it is; it's a portrait/charicature i did of my girlfriend. i used a photo for reference _kinda_; I turned it upside down and sketched out the big forms, then turned it right side up and stylized the features a bit. I have a long, long way to go before I can start drawing people from memory/imagination. Sometimes I regret not going to school for it, but I like what I do now.

Your rough work show that you know the basics, ie making figures from spheres and cylinders. You can see how that gives your drawing so much life and dimension. Life drawing will help you in ways that will keep on giving. You're on your way though. You're definitely not a novice.

I think the problem might be that the pose doesn't make logical sense. Why is her left wrist resting on her inner thigh? Also where is her weight distributed? Her right arm looks uncomfortable because it doesn't look like there's any weight on it. It should either be closer to her torso or pushing her knee out.

Funny you should say that, my dad used to do cartoons for something to do with the Marines. He had a lot of political cartoons lying around and they definitely left an imprint. That and Frank Cho. I would definitely do a li'l Trumpy but I'm on vacation right now and have no pencils or paper on hand which sucks.
